Best Winter Gloves

It may only be August but now is the perfect time to start preparing for winter and deciding on which thermal gloves you are wanting to supply.

Why are Winter Gloves important?

As the seasons change, so do some working conditions. This can present different hazards to those seen in the hotter months of the year.

To keep staff protected and comfortable, it is important to offer gloves to keep out the seasonable elements.

Just 1 Source have a selection of thermal gloves from rigger to cut-resistant gloves, which all offer different levels of protection.

The Watersafe Range

Gloves in the Watersafe Range are dual-coated and waterproofed to the wrist. Finished with a sandy palm, they offer superb wet or dry suction grip. These gloves maintain dexterity whilst keeping the hand of the wearer dry; reducing downtime in changing wet gloves, as well as saving money by allowing a glove to reach the end of it’s lifespan.

Whilst all waterproof gloves in this range are suited to winter, we have 2 thermal glove options which are perfect for harsher working conditions:

CUT LEVEL 2 THERMAL GLOVE

  • Thermal Acrylic-Loop Liner
  • Cut Level 2
  • Dual Coated in Latex
  • Sandy Grip Finish
  • Sizes 8 (M) to 11 (XXL)

CUT LEVEL E THERMAL GLOVE

  • Thermal Acrylic, HPPE & Steel Liner
  • Cut Level E
  • Dual Coated in Nitrile
  • Sandy Grip Finish
  • Sizes 8 (M) to 11 (XXL)

Coloursafe Range

Some applications do not require waterproof gloves but still need thermal properties to keep the user warm… in this scenario, you could try looking within our Coloursafe Range.

Coloursafe Pred Winter Paws

The Pred Winter Paws is made using an Acrylic-Loop liner with an open back, keeping the hand warm but allowing it to breathe at the same time.

This glove features a Crinkle Latex palm coating to ensure the wearer has great grip at all times. The iconic double-dipped design mirrored throughout the Paws range, offers increased wear and longevity.

The extended cuff which is seen on the Pred Winter Paws covers the wrist to help keep the user warm, particularly to close a gap between a hi-vis jacket and work glove.

This glove is available in sizes 8 (M) to 11 (XXL).

Predator by Ron®

Whilst knitted and coated products offer great dexterity and grip properties, there will always be a place in the market for the classic Rigger Glove.

Rigger Gloves are the preferred choice of hand protection for many when extra hand padding is required. We tailored a favourite within our range specifically for colder conditions.

The size 10 split-leather Winter Power Rigger features additional leather across the knuckles, incorporating a hi-vis strip for increased visibility and protection.

Housing a Thinsulate™ liner – renowned in the industry for its thermal properties – the Winter Power Rigger is perfect for cold working conditions.

The Winter Power Rigger also features a cotton drill cuff with a knit wrist extension. This is designed to lock heat inside the glove, as well as to prevent debris from entering inside.
